Job Description
We are hiring for Manager-Design Engineering.
Location: Times Microwave Systems, Bangalore India
Reporting To: Business Director
Experience: 12-14Years
CTC: we can offer 16-18LPA
Summary
The Manager-Design Engineering supports the Engineering Team in maintaining and releasing technical and manufacturing documentation in the ERP system, ensuring configuration control for required processes as well as supporting manufacturing to ensure quality of information. This position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of design engineers and co-ordinate work
- Monito preparation of technical drawings and specifications
- Review customer drawings and specifications for material requirements applicable for ERP entry.
- Coordinate use of internal web tools to run parallel to production documentation.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, manage, and report on task and project progress
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to help support the production process
Qualifications/Requirements
- Requires BE Mechanical Engineering with 12+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment and/or in a Design engineering Company.
- Work knowledge in Solid works & AUTOCAD preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing
- Familiar with manufacturing and drafting practices
Key points
- Co-axial cable assembly and connector design experience
- Machined parts designed experience
- Hands on experience in machined comonents
- Experience in designing precision components like watch components
