Job Description
Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Ashok Nagar, Magrath Road, Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–3 Years
Salary: ₹2.5–₹4.0 LPA
Qualification: B.Com / Commerce Graduate
Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, reconciliations, financial reporting, and documentation. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, Tally, GST, and MS Excel, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payments, sales invoices, and day-to-day accounting entries.
- Prepare bank, sales, purchase, and other account reconciliations.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Monitor receivables and payables and follow up for timely collections.
- Maintain proper accounting records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare balance sheet schedules, accruals, provisions, and journal entries.
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports, budgets, and management reports.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary information and documentation.
- Assist in vendor/customer account reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial and statutory records.
- Support Management in other accounting and ad-hoc requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements
- B.Com graduate with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of Tally, GST, and MS Excel.
- Exposure to Zoho Books or other cloud accounting software preferred.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve accounting processes.
