Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join the growing admissions team.
The role involves engaging with prospective learners, understanding their educational and career aspirations, and providing guidance on suitable learning programs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and a strong focus on delivering a positive learner experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective learners regarding Eduinx programs and relevant career opportunities.
- Engage with leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, and virtual consultations.
- Understand candidates' educational backgrounds, career goals, and learning requirements.
- Recommend suitable programs based on learner needs and career objectives.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation and counselling through enrollment and post-sales coordination.
- Maintain accurate lead information and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Consistently achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with prospective learners to improve conversions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective learners.
- Coordinate with Operations, Academics, Student Success, and Placements teams to ensure a smooth learner onboarding experience.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and MIS updates.
- Maintain professional and effective communication throughout the learner journey.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–4 years of experience in Inside Sales, Academic Counselling, or B2C Sales.
- EdTech industry experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets through consultative selling.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and lead pipeline management.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong follow-up and conversion-oriented approach.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience in reputed EdTech organizations such as Simplilearn, upGrad, Great Learning, Edureka, PhysicsWallah, BYJU'S, Unacademy, or similar EdTech companies will be preferred.
