Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Scheduling • Prepare BOQ and BOM based on tender drawings, technical specifications, and site requirements • Develop project-wise work schedules, material planning charts, and execution timelines • Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and vendors to ensure timely material availability • Monitor project progress and update schedules, highlighting delays and critical paths • Assist in cost estimation, quantity take-off, and resource planning during bidding 2. Procurement & Vendor Management • Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors for civil, electrical, mechanical, MS fabrication, and infrastructure materials • Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and warranty conditions • Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely material supply as per project plan • Maintain procurement logs, price databases, vendor performance records, and cost comparisons • Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing 3. Technical & Documentation Support • Interpret drawings, tender documents, and specifications to prepare accurate quantity requirements • Work with internal teams for technical approval of materials and samples • Prepare and maintain DPRs, MRRs, procurement trackers, and consumption reports • Support tendering team during bidding with technical inputs and quantity analysis

Job Description

- Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and project documentation
- Implement ERP system for efficient planning and purchasing processes
- Source and procure materials for projects
- Develop and implement Material Resource Planning (MRP) strategies
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for project requirements
- Negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines and budget constraints are met
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to make informed purchasing decisions
