Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Diverse Illustration:
Create high-quality artwork for storybooks, comics, and intricate coloring books.
Cultural Artistry:
Research and execute various Indian folk art styles (Madhubani, Gond, Pattachitra, etc.) for specialized projects.
3D Design:
Conceptualize and design 3D models for physical products and activity/art kits.
Versatile Design:
Work on everything from simple activity sheets to complex comic panels.
Brand Ambassadorship:
Participate in brand events and workshops to showcase our art and engage with our community.
Live Illustration:
Sketching or painting live during events to engage the audience.
Event Aesthetics:
Designing the physical stalls, backdrops, and interactive art installations for brand launches.
Workshop Facilitation:
Leading "How to Draw" or "Folk Art" workshops for your community, positioning the brand as an authority in art.
Packaging Art:
Turning a boring box into a piece of art that customers want to keep.
Merchandising:
Designing "beyond the book"—stickers, bookmarks, posters, and even educational toys or apparel based on your book characters.
Character Bible:
Creating a consistent look for characters so they can appear in storybooks, comics, and activity kits without looking different.
Micro-Animations:
Creating short, looping animations (GIFs) of book characters for website or social media to catch the eye.
AR (Augmented Reality) Art:
Designing art that "pops up" or moves when a reader points their phone at a page in a book.
Interactive Kits:
Designing the UI (User Interface) for digital activity kits or educational games.
Smart Tech Integration:
Use AI tools effectively to streamline "short-form" creative work such as event posters, social media banners, and digital invitations, allowing you more time for high-value manual artistry.
What We Are Looking For
Pure Artistic Talent:
A strong portfolio showing hand-drawn or digital painting skills (not just photo manipulation).
Technical Range:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator), Procreate, and 3D software (Blender or similar).
Style Adaptability:
The ability to switch from "simple and cute" for kids to "detailed and traditional" for folk art.
Team Spirit:
A "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude for events and collaborative brainstorms.
You won't be stuck doing the same social media banner every day. You will create tangible products—books, kits, and art—that people hold in their hands.
