Job Title: Social Media & Performance Marketing Specialist
Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Hybrid) (Only candidates currently based in Pune will be considered.)
Industry: B2B Marketing / Digital Marketing / Client Servicing

CTC: ₹50,000 – ₹75,000 per month
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Social Media & Performance Marketing Expert who can independently manage key B2B client accounts end-to-end.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing monthly digital marketing plans, managing clients' social media presence, executing performance marketing campaigns, coordinating content execution, monitoring campaign performance, and delivering measurable business results.
This is a client-facing role that requires a strong combination of performance marketing expertise, strategic thinking, account management, communication skills, and hands-on execution capability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Key Account Management
- Manage assigned B2B client accounts from strategy through execution.
- Understand each client's business, industry, products, target audience, competitors, and marketing objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all digital marketing and social media initiatives.
- Conduct regular client meetings, campaign reviews, and monthly performance discussions.
- Build strong client relationships while ensuring timely delivery of all agreed marketing activities.
- Coordinate with internal content writers, designers, video editors, website teams, and other stakeholders.
2. Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop monthly social media strategies and content calendars for B2B clients.
- Plan campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Identify content themes, campaign ideas, lead generation opportunities, and audience engagement initiatives.
- Ensure consistent brand positioning, messaging, tone, and visual communication.
- Monitor social media performance and recommend improvements based on analytics and audience insights.
- Oversee content publishing, scheduling, optimization, and reporting.
3. Performance Marketing

Plan, execute, monitor, and optimize paid campaigns across:
- Meta Ads
- Google Search Ads
- Google Display Ads
- YouTube Ads
- LinkedIn Ads (where applicable)
- Build campaign structures aligned with client objectives including lead generation, website traffic, brand awareness, remarketing, and conversions.
- Conduct audience research, keyword research, competitor analysis, and campaign forecasting.
- Manage campaign budgets and optimize spend across platforms.
- Continuously improve targeting, creatives, landing pages, bidding strategies, keywords, and ad copy.
- Monitor campaign KPIs including CPL, CPC, CTR, Conversion Rate, ROAS, Lead Quality, and Customer Acquisition Cost.
- Set up and manage remarketing and retargeting campaigns.
- Ensure accurate implementation of Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.
4. B2B Lead Generation
- Develop digital lead generation strategies specifically for B2B clients.
- Design campaigns that support long B2B buying cycles across different customer journey stages.
- Collaborate with clients' sales teams to evaluate lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Create campaigns targeting business owners, CXOs, decision-makers, purchase heads, plant heads, and functional leaders.
- Recommend landing pages, lead magnets, webinars, case studies, downloadable resources, and other conversion assets.
5. Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly campaign performance reports.
- Translate campaign data into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Track social media growth, engagement, website traffic, leads, conversions, and campaign ROI.
- Present campaign performance confidently during client meetings.
- Identify underperforming campaigns and proactively implement optimization strategies.
6. AI Tools & Marketing Automation
- Leverage AI tools for campaign planning, content ideation, research, ad copy creation, reporting, and productivity enhancement.
- Stay updated on emerging AI tools relevant to digital marketing, automation, analytics, and design.
- Utilize platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Canva AI, and other marketing technologies.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing and reporting tasks.
- Promote AI-enabled workflows while maintaining brand consistency and content quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, or Social Media Marketing.
- Proven experience managing B2B clients and B2B marketing campaigns.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Experience independently managing monthly digital marketing plans for multiple client accounts.
- Strong understanding of B2B customer journeys, lead generation funnels, and conversion strategies.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Business Manager, and conversion tracking.
- Ability to analyze campaign data and make optimization decisions.
- Excellent client servicing, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts, campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, trends, and algorithms.
- AI-savvy with hands-on exposure to modern AI-powered marketing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Google Ads Certification and/or Meta Blueprint Certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with B2B Manufacturing, Industrial, Professional Services, Education, Consulting, Technology, or MSME clients.
- Previous experience in a Digital Marketing Agency or Client Account Management role.
- Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and lead management systems.
