Job Description
Job Title: Patent Associate
Location: New Delhi
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Patent Professional with Engineering background for our firm. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Patent practices, particularly searching, drafting, prosecuting patent applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Executing Patent Applications:
o Collaborate with inventors, and applicants for their Patent requirements, conducting inventor interviews, preliminary assessment of Inventions for Patentability.
o Managing the full Patent protection cycle, including searching, drafting, prosecuting, hearing and related responsibilities.
o Conducting FTO, Landscape, and other detailed search and analysis.
• Strategy Advisory:
o Advising Patent and claim strategies to clients based on specific requirements.
Qualifications:
• B.Tech. in Mechanical/Electronics & Communications/Electrical/Computer Sciences
• Preferred: M.Tech., Registered Patent Agent
• Minimum of 3 years of PQE.
• Strong knowledge of Indian, US, EP Patent laws & best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in search databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
