Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Conference Manager – Operations to lead conference operations and manage end-to-end execution of professional conferences and events.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the operations team, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and ensuring smooth delivery of conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Operations Conference Executives and Secretariat professionals.
- Manage end-to-end operations for professional conferences and events.
- Handle online registrations, delegate management, and abstract management.
- Coordinate with vendors for audio-visual requirements, signage, fabrication, conference kits, and printing materials.
- Coordinate with venues for venue contracting and conference-related arrangements.
- Work closely with the conference marketing team to support event promotion and delegate engagement.
- Coordinate with website developers and graphic designers for event websites, creatives, and digital requirements.
- Ensure timely coordination and execution across multiple stakeholders and vendors.
- Monitor conference deliverables, timelines, and operational requirements to ensure smooth event execution.
- Handle client servicing and maintain effective communication with clients throughout the conference lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in conference management, event operations, or professional conference organisation.
- Strong experience in managing professional, medical, scientific, corporate, or association conferences.
- Good knowledge of conference operations, vendor coordination, and event execution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Strong client servicing and coordination capabilities.
