Job Title: MEP Engineer (High-Rise Residential/Commercial Projects)
Location: Jaipur
Company: Upasna Group
Industry: Real Estate / Construction
Salary Range- 4-6 LPA
Experience: 4 to 8 Years
Role Overview
You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities for high-rise building projects. handle site pressure, vendor coordination, and strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution
- Manage end-to-end MEP works for high-rise buildings.
- Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, standards, and timelines.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and structural teams.
- Design & Planning
- Review MEP drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting).
- Identify design gaps early.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
- Site Management
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors.
- Monitor daily site progress and resolve technical issues on the spot.
- Ensure proper installation as per BOQ and specifications.
- Coordination
- Work closely with consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
- Quality & Safety
- Maintain quality standards across all MEP installations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols (electrical safety, fire norms, etc.).
- Cost & Billing
- Verify contractor bills and quantities.
- Track material consumption and control wastage.
- Testing & Commissioning
- Handle testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.
- Ensure systems are fully functional before handover.
- Documentation
- Maintain proper records: drawings, reports, approvals, and handover documents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- 4–8 years of experience in real estate/construction (high-rise projects preferred)
Required Skills (Non-Negotiable)
- Strong understanding of:
- HVAC systems
- Electrical systems (HT/LT panels, DG, etc.)
- Plumbing & firefighting systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Vendor and contractor management
- Problem-solving under pressure (this is a site role, not a desk job)
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD
