Job Description
Job Title: Marketing & PR Manager (Content + Events + Brand)
Offer: INR 4.5LPA in-hand + Project Based Bonuses + Perks (Including health insurance, transport allowance, travel subsidies, daily allowance etc.)
Role Type: Full-time | Leadership Role
Location: Mumbai (On-site preferred)
Compensation: Fixed + performance bonus + growth-linked incentives
Role Overview
Renate is building a category-defining AI Agents Workforce platform. We are looking for a Marketing & PR Manager who is also a natural content creator and brand builder.
This role is not traditional marketing. Your primary responsibility is to make Renate and its founder impossible to ignore—through daily content, PR placements, podcast execution, invitation dinners, strategic events, and consistent media presence.
You will operate like a personal brand strategist + startup marketing head + PR lead, all in one.
Key Responsibilities
A) Founder Branding & Daily Content
- Ensure the founder is consistently visible in the ecosystem with premium positioning.
- Record content daily at work: meetings, behind-the-scenes, product demos, events, wins, strategy sessions.
- Convert raw footage into short-form content for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Twitter/X.
- Plan and execute founder content themes (AI workforce, business scaling, Indian startups, capital markets, systems thinking).
- Write captions, scripts, hooks, and talking points.
- Build and manage the founder's online identity as a high-profile thought leader.
B) PR & Media Execution
- Secure media coverage and placements across startup media, business pages, podcasts, and publications.
- Draft press releases, story angles, announcements, and public statements.
- Build and manage journalist and editor relationships.
- Create consistent "headline moments" (product launches, partnerships, residencies, events, milestones).
C) Podcast Ownership
- Own end-to-end execution of the Renate podcast.
- Manage guest outreach and scheduling (founders, VCs, CXOs, celebrities, operators).
- Oversee production workflow: scripting, recording, editing, publishing, clipping.
- Ensure every episode is repurposed into 20+ micro-content pieces.
D) Events, Dinners & Ecosystem Presence
- Plan and execute invitation-only dinners in Mumbai (BKC, Juhu, SoBo circles).
- Organise founder meetups, investor evenings, and private ecosystem gatherings.
- Execute demo days, residency events, product showcases, and partnership announcements.
- Coordinate with venue partners, guest lists, invitations, and event media coverage.
E) Brand Marketing & Growth
- Own Renate's brand voice, storytelling, design direction, and communication style.
- Manage all marketing creatives (ads, pitch decks, brochures, website copy, product storytelling).
- Plan marketing campaigns around launches and public moments.
- Coordinate with designers, video editors, photographers, freelancers as needed.
- Ensure Renate's social media pages remain premium, active, and high-quality.
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Weekly content output volume (shorts/posts/clips)
- Growth of founder visibility (followers, engagement, inbound invites)
- Media placements and PR mentions per month
- Podcast consistency + guest quality
- Event execution quality + attendance
- Number of inbound leads generated from content/PR
Required Skills & Traits
- Strong storytelling and content instincts (must be a creator at heart).
- Comfort filming and capturing content daily in real environments.
- Strong writing ability (captions, press releases, scripts).
- Ability to plan events and manage logistics.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced founder-led environments.
- Good taste in brand aesthetics (premium, clean, institutional vibe).
- Networking ability with founders, VCs, media, and high-profile individuals.
Preferred / Bonus
- Experience in PR agencies, founder branding, startup marketing, or media production.
- Prior work with premium brands or high-profile personalities.
- Strong network in Mumbai media/startup ecosystem.
