Job Title: Business Development Officer (BDO) – Enterprise Sales

Role Type: Full-time | Founding Team

Location: Mumbai (On-site preferred/Hybrid available)

Compensation: Fixed + high performance incentives

Current Offer: 4.5LPA in-hand + Bonus on sales + Perks (Including health insurance, transport allowance, travel subsidies, daily allowance etc.)

Key success metric: You consistently bring high-quality businesses into Renate and close revenue weekly, building a repeatable sales pipeline that scales.

Role Overview

Renate is building an Agentic AI Workforce platform that deploys real-time AI voice + WhatsApp agents for sales, support, and operations. We are hiring a Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive client acquisition through outbound sales, meetings, and closures. This role is ideal for someone who is aggressive, disciplined, and capable of selling high-ticket B2B solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and acquire businesses that can benefit from Renate AI workforce deployments.
  • Execute outbound outreach via WhatsApp, LinkedIn, calls, email, and direct networking.
  • Book meetings with founders, CXOs, and business heads.
  • Deliver product pitches and live demos (online + in-person).
  • Close upfront deployment packages and convert them into monthly retainers.
  • Manage end-to-end pipeline: lead sourcing → call → meeting → closure → handoff.
  • Coordinate with the tech team to ensure smooth onboarding and deployment timelines.
  • Maintain CRM updates and weekly reporting of pipeline performance.

Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Daily outbound volume (calls/messages/emails)
  • Qualified meetings booked per week
  • Closures per week/month
  • Revenue closed (upfront + recurring)
  • Conversion rate from meetings to payments

Required Skills & Traits

  •  Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  •  Comfortable pitching to senior decision-makers.
  •  High discipline with follow-ups and pipeline tracking.
  •  Hunger to win and perform in a high-pressure environment.
  •  Basic understanding of tech / SaaS / automation products.

Preferred Background

  • Prior experience in B2B sales (SaaS, consulting, IT services, real estate, fintech, agency BD).
  • Existing Mumbai business network is a plus.
  • Ability to travel locally for client meetings.
