Instalaxmi is a B2B JewelTech platform helping retail jewellers build and grow their own digital ecosystem. Its solutions include Digital Gold, Gold Savings Plans, Loyalty & Membership Programs, Gamification, Customer Engagement, Jewellery Catalogue, WhatsApp CRM, and other technology-led solutions designed specifically for jewellery retailers.
We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Sales Manager who can develop new markets, build strong relationships with jewellers, and consistently achieve revenue targets.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with retail jewellers and jewellery businesses, conducting product demonstrations, managing the complete sales cycle, and achieving assigned sales and revenue targets.
The role requires a strong combination of B2B sales, business development, consultative selling, relationship management, and territory development.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and approach retail jewellers, jewellery chains, and jewellery businesses in the assigned market.
- Generate new leads through field visits, references, exhibitions, networking, calling, and digital channels.
- Maintain a strong and active sales pipeline.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential customer segments.
Sales & Product Demonstration
- Conduct meetings and product demonstrations with jewellery store owners and key decision-makers.
- Understand the jeweller's business requirements and recommend suitable Instalaxmi solutions.
- Present Instalaxmi's product features, packages, commercials, and business benefits effectively.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation → meeting → product presentation → follow-up → negotiation → closure → payment.
- Consistently follow up with prospects until closure.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with jewellers and key business stakeholders.
- Generate referrals from existing customers.
- Develop a consultative approach to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with Operations, Training, and Technology teams for smooth onboarding of newly acquired clients.
CRM & Sales Reporting
- Maintain complete and accurate records of leads, meetings, follow-ups, and opportunities in the CRM.
- Track sales pipeline activity and follow-up effectiveness.
- Monitor collections from newly acquired customers.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance and market activities.
Market Development
- Participate in jewellery exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.
- Track competitors and provide feedback on market requirements, pricing, and emerging opportunities.
- Support market expansion within the assigned territory.
Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive consistent revenue generation and customer acquisition.
- Monitor lead-to-customer conversion and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
Candidate Profile
- 3–8 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, SaaS, FinTech, Jewellery, Retail Technology, or related industries.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable meeting business owners and senior decision-makers.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
- Target-driven and comfortable working with monthly sales goals.
- Ability to independently manage an assigned territory.
- Comfortable travelling extensively within the assigned market.
- Experience selling technology or services to jewellers or retailers will be a strong advantage.
- Basic understanding of CRM and digital sales tools is preferred.
