Job Description

Experience Level: 1-2 years of experience in Software QA

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer with 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our software products through thorough testing and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
2. Perform manual and automated testing on web, mobile applications.
3. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
4. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
5. Conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur.
6. Monitor and analyze test results, providing detailed reports on software quality and test coverage.
7. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and testing strategies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
3. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Experience with both manual and automated testing.
5. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira).
6. Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and scripting.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
2. Experience with performance and/or security testing.
3. Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
4. Basic knowledge of API testing.
5. Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
