Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Manager Intern to join our Growth Team. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, has a strong interest in social media, and is passionate about building a brand's online presence. You will work closely with our Brand Growth Manager and Visual Design Lead to expand our social media reach, engage our community (Maafia), and collaborate with creators to generate user-generated content (UGC).
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing and maintaining Famyo's social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.), ensuring consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
- Content Planning & Creation: Collaborate with the Visual Design Lead to plan, create, and schedule engaging content that resonates with our audience.
- Community Building: Work alongside the Brand Growth Manager to grow and engage our online community, Maafia, by fostering meaningful interactions and responding to comments/messages.
- Collaborations: Identify and reach out to potential collaborators and influencers to expand our brand reach and drive engagement.
- Research & Strategy: Conduct market research to stay updated on trends and competitors, and assist in developing strategies to enhance our social media presence.
- Metrics Analysis: Monitor social media performance metrics (reach, impressions, engagement, etc.) and provide insights to optimize content and strategy.
- UGC Coordination: Coordinate with creators and influencers to generate authentic user-generated content that aligns with Famyo's brand values.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong interest in social media marketing and brand building.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) and their best practices.
- Basic understanding of content creation, including graphics, video, and copywriting.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Prior experience with social media management, content creation, or influencer marketing is a plus.
