Job Title: S/4HANA SD Senior Consultant
Specialization: SAP Logistics

Job Overview
The S/4HANA SD Senior Consultant will work with customers and business stakeholders to understand requirements, prepare detailed functional specifications, and coordinate with technical teams on RICEFW developments and integrations. The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP SD, supporting knowledge of SAP MM, and practical experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, and support.
The consultant will also be responsible for functional testing, integration testing support, defect analysis, issue resolution, and coordination through go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements through discussions with customers and stakeholders.
- Analyse business processes and translate requirements into SAP SD and related SAP MM functional solutions.
- Prepare detailed Functional Specifications (FS/FSD) for RICEFW developments.
- Explain functional requirements, business logic, and expected system behaviour clearly to technical teams.
- Coordinate with technical teams throughout development, testing, defect resolution, and go-live activities.
- Perform functional testing and support integration testing, defect analysis, and issue resolution.
- Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, and support projects.
- Apply strong knowledge of intercompany and intracompany Stock Transport Orders (STO), including master data, configuration, and movement types.
- Support subcontracting processes and associated inventory movements.
- Work with SAP ABAP, BTP, and CPI teams on integrations and interface development.
- Ensure appropriate coordination across SD-MM integration points and cross-functional business processes.
- Manage requirements, specifications, development coordination, and testing activities independently.
Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of overall SAP experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP SD and secondary knowledge of SAP MM.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, and support projects.
- Strong technical-functional understanding of RICEFW objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- In-depth understanding of SD-MM integration and cross-functional business processes.
- Strong knowledge of intercompany and intracompany STO, including master data, configuration, and movement types.
- Experience with subcontracting processes and related inventory movements.
- Good understanding of inventory management and stock movements.
- Experience coordinating with SAP ABAP, BTP, and CPI teams for integrations and interface development.
- Ability to prepare detailed functional specifications and communicate business logic to technical teams.
- Ability to manage requirements, development coordination, testing, and issue resolution independently.
- Experience working with Japanese stakeholders is preferred.
- Availability to join immediately or within 15 days.
