Job Description

Your responsibility as a Snowflake & DBT Data Engineer:

As a Data Engineer you are motivated to deliver results in data pipeline design, development of innovative solutions and operations of critical systems in a DevOps culture.

Your background and skills:

We are looking for a strong Data Engineer that have hands-on experience/ recognize yourself in several of the following areas:

• Education: Bachelor or Master of Science in Information Technology area

• Have minimum 5 years of relevant experience within Data Engineering role, designing and building end to end data pipelines in cloud technologies. Experience with Financial Data is a plus.

• Strong programming, analytic and debugging skills using SQL to handle data.

• Strong skills in Snowflake, DBT, GitLab/GitHub and AWS

• Additional knowledge on Python, Terraform, Bootstrap, Docker, Kafka or API is a plus.

• Ready to take end-to-end responsibility from development to production support.

• Interest in software and information architecture

• Good understanding on Data quality and performance tuning best practices

• Knowledge on YAML to configure source and targets.

• Good understanding of CI/CD practices and use of automation tools/frameworks to increase flow.

• Quick learner with an aptitude of working in the team, a proactive, systems thinking approach.

• Experience working with offshore delivery model and multi culture teams.
