Job Profile- Senior ELV Design Engineer (Residential & Commercial Buildings – US Projects)
Location: Gurugram
Work Mode: Full-Time | 5 Days Work From Office
Experience: 4–10 Years
Salary: Upto 30 LPA
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior ELV Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. The role involves designing and coordinating ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems for high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and smart building projects, primarily catering to U.S.-based developments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in ELV system design, multidisciplinary coordination, BIM-enabled workflows, and U.S. building design standards. Candidates from leading engineering design consultancies with experience in large-scale building projects will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
ELV System Design
Design, engineer, and coordinate the following ELV systems:
- Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
- Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)
- CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Public Address & Voice Evacuation Systems (PA/VA)
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Intercom Systems
- Nurse Call Systems
- IPTV / MATV / SMATV Systems
- HVAC Control Systems
- Smart Building Controls and Sensors
Design Development
- Prepare concept, schematic, design development, tender, and construction-stage design deliverables.
- Develop system layouts, riser diagrams, schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and equipment layouts.
- Perform engineering calculations, device coverage analysis, capacity planning, system sizing, and design validation.
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, equipment schedules, and design reports.
- Develop coordinated ELV design packages aligned with architectural, structural, and MEP requirements.
Coordination & Engineering Integration
- Collaborate closely with Architectural, Structural, MEP, Fire Protection, and BIM teams.
- Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and clash detection exercises.
- Ensure seamless integration of ELV systems within complex building environments.
- Support design optimization through standardization, automation, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and quality reviews.
Smart Building & Technology Integration
- Support implementation of smart building technologies and intelligent infrastructure solutions.
- Contribute to BIM-enabled design workflows and digital engineering initiatives.
- Explore opportunities for IoT integration, automation, and data-driven building solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
-
4–10 years of core ELV Design experience.

Proven experience designing ELV systems for:
- High-Rise Residential Buildings
- Commercial Office Buildings
- Mixed-Use Developments
- Hospitality Projects
- Smart Building Developments

Experience working with Engineering Design Consultancies is highly preferred.

Exposure to U.S.-based building projects and design standards is strongly preferred.

Strong experience in multidisciplinary building design coordination.
