Job Description

Position: Sales Specialist – Machine Tools / Capital Equipment Sales

Location: Pune

Experience Required: 3–4 Years

Industry Preference: Machine Tools / Capital Equipment / Industrial Automation / Engineering Sales

CTC: ₹4 – ₹5 LPA

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Sales Executive with experience in Machine Tools, Capital Equipment, or Industrial Automation sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, understanding technical requirements, conducting product demonstrations, and achieving sales targets.

The role requires strong technical understanding, customer interaction skills, and the ability to work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate new business opportunities within manufacturing and engineering industries.
  • Promote and sell Machine Tools and Capital Equipment solutions.
  • Identify potential customers and develop strong business relationships.

Customer Handling & Technical Support

  • Visit customers to understand technical and application requirements.
  • Conduct machine presentations, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
  • Provide suitable technical solutions based on customer needs.

Quotation & Order Management

  • Prepare quotations and proposals in coordination with internal teams.
  • Follow up with customers for order conversion and closure.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer records.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with production, application, and service teams for smooth project execution.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare sales reports, customer feedback, and market intelligence reports.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of Machine Tools and Industrial Machinery.
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Customer relationship management and client handling ability.
  • Strong presentation and sales closing skills.
  • Ability to travel for customer visits and business meetings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
