Job Title: Sales Engineer – Industrial Pumps & Genuine Spares

Reporting To: Team Lead / Sales Manager

Experience: 1–5 Years

Salary (CTC): Up to ₹6 LPA

Compensation Structure:

Fixed Salary: 60% of CTC
Variable Pay: 40% of CTC (Based on Target Achievement)
Quarterly Performance Incentives
Travel Reimbursement

Role Overview

Jay Project is an Authorized Sales & Service Dealer of Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), delivering industrial pumping solutions, genuine spare parts, and after-sales services across Gujarat. We serve industries including Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Water & Wastewater, Infrastructure, Government Projects, Power, and Manufacturing.

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Sales Engineer to strengthen our Industrial Sales team. This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have experience in Industrial B2B sales, strong customer relationship management skills, and the ability to recommend technical pumping solutions while achieving business growth targets.

Qualifications / Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
1–5 years of Industrial B2B Field Sales experience.
Experience selling industrial engineering products is mandatory.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and professional email communication.
Comfortable with extensive field travel.
Stable career history with minimal job changes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Generate enquiries through regular customer visits and market development activities.
Meet with industries, consultants, contractors, EPC companies, and government departments.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable industrial pumping solutions.
Conduct techno-commercial discussions and coordinate quotation preparation with the Sales Coordinator.
Negotiate commercial terms and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
Coordinate with Sales, Service, and OEM teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Achieve monthly sales, booking, and collection targets.
Maintain customer visit reports and update sales activities regularly.
