Job Description
- Dispense prescription medications to patients with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide counseling and advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications
- Monitor patients' drug therapies for drug interactions, side effects, and effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and transactions processed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current on pharmacological knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering medications, and stocking shelves
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns and questions
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the pharmacy through teamwork and dedication.
