Job Description
Position name: Product Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
· Applies and supports the development of processes such as Design Review, Virtual Review, and tools such as Creo, DFMEA, DVP & R, DFM, DFA, tolerance stack-up, etc.
· Conducts cross-functional reviews for components on own, seeks guidance from experts and program team members as required.
· 3D CAD modeling for major casting components and other engine components like plumbing, sheet metal brackets, etc.
· Creating and checking 2D drawings. Apply GD&T and design for Manufacturing/service/assembly.
· Develop engineering releases as per component requirement for respective design phase.
· Support on the engine build with proposed BOM (Review BOM and verify it during engine build).
· Support part movement during the engine builds validation, testing, etc.
· Capable to handle ETLA and Product tailoring components / system TLA.
Requirements
Skills and Experience Required:
· Experience Range - 5 to 10+ Years
· Qualification - MTech or BTech Mechanical or Associated Branches.
· Background of working in CREO 2.0 on engine components like plumbing, sheet metal parts, casting etc.
· Knowledge of product lifecycle.
· Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and Design for Assembly.
· MCM knowledge is preferred.
· Basic knowledge of engine components function is preferred.
· CAD Proficiency: Pro/E – Creo and casting - NPD
· Expected Skill Level – Expert.
- Work location : Pune.
- Note : NP – 15 Days or 30 days max.
