Job Description

Responsibilities:

 Conduct microbiological research projects independently or as part of a team.
 Design, plan, and execute experiments to investigate microbial behavior, growth, andinteractions.
 Perform microbial isolations, identifications, and characterizations using a varietyof techniques such as PCR, sequencing, and biochemical assays.
 Analyze and interpret experimental data accurately, drawing meaningful conclusionsto contribute to the advancement of microbiological knowledge.
 Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper functioning, and adhere to safetyprotocols.
 Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to interdisciplinary research initiatives.
 Stay updated with the latest advancements in microbiology through literature reviewand attendance at relevant conferences or seminars.
 Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications for internal documentationand external dissemination.
 Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff or interns as needed.

Requirements:

 Master's degree in Microbiology or related field.
 More than 2 years of experience working in a microbiology research environment.
 Proficiency in a wide range of microbiological techniques, including microbial culture, molecular biology, and microscopy.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot experimental issues.
 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaborationand presentation of findings.
 Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a teamin a fast-pacedresearch environment.
 Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards in all aspects of researchandlaboratory work.  Flexibility and adaptability to changing research priorities and project requirements.
 Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and integrity in research practices.
