Lead Backend Engineer

Our users have collectively invested ₹300 crores using marketfeed. Backed by a strong team of 50+ talented individuals, our mission is to democratise trading and make it profitable for everyone, no matter their level of experience. 🕵 Who are we looking for? We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with prior expertise in designing and developing high-performance backend systems on Cloud. This role would be responsible for building backend capabilities for our app and accelerate our growth initiatives. 🎯 You’re a great fit if you:

● Have 7+ years of hands-on experience in programming with Go, Node.js, or Python

● Possess strong understanding of Realtime Systems, Redis, Websockets, Event-Driven Architectures

● Have expertise in databases such as MySQL, Firestore, Realtime Database

● Are proficient in cloud platforms like GCP and experience with CI/CD tools

● Have experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization

● Have the passion for mentoring and grooming engineers

● Curious about learning new tools, discovering innovations, setting up new processes to make us better 💯Bonus points if you:

● Have experience in financial markets, particularly trading and options, or a willingness to dive deep into this space.

● Have a proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments where autonomy and self-management are key.
