Job Description
Job Title: Junior Video Editor — Perception Media
Location: Delhi
Salary: ₹3.6 LPA (In-Hand) Joining: Immediate
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Junior Video Editor who understands pace, storytelling, and what makes content work. This role is for someone who consumes content heavily and knows how to translate that into clean, premium edits.
You’ll be working across short-form and long-form content for brands and creators.
What You’ll Do
- Edit high-quality short-form content (Reels, Shorts, ads) and long-form videos
- Work with motion graphics, typography, and clean visual elements
- Add music, sound effects, and basic sound design to enhance edits
- Create strong pacing, transitions, and overall flow
- Collaborate with the team and execute edits based on clear direction
What We’re Looking For
- Around 1 year of experience (flexible if your work proves it)
- Strong portfolio (freelance, college, or personal projects all count)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual taste
- Understanding of current internet content and editing styles
- Ability to use graphics, text, and sound effectively
- Someone who prioritizes quality of work over everything else
- Open to feedback and quick to adapt
