About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Content Writer with 1–1.5 years of hands-on experience who is passionate about writing, eager to learn, and interested in creating engaging, search-friendly content for diverse industries.
The role involves working closely with the SEO and Content teams to deliver high-quality content for client projects while balancing creativity, brand requirements, and data-driven content strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, draft, edit, and proofread blogs, articles, web pages, and social media content.
- Create SEO-friendly and keyword-optimized content in collaboration with the SEO team.
- Write compelling copy for landing pages, advertisements, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct content audits and identify opportunities to improve and repurpose existing content.
- Ensure content aligns with the required brand voice, tone, style, and communication objectives.
- Assist in developing content strategies that support marketing and SEO goals.
- Conduct thorough research to create accurate, credible, and original content.
- Fact-check content and maintain high editorial standards.
- Stay updated with content trends, digital storytelling practices, and audience engagement techniques.
- Work closely with SEO and Content teams to deliver client projects within defined timelines.
- Balance creativity with content performance and data-driven requirements.
- Explore and apply AI-driven tools to improve content workflows and productivity.
- Manage multiple content assignments while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Work under the guidance and mentorship of senior content strategists and SEO professionals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in content writing, with preference for candidates closer to 1–1.5 years of experience.
- Agency experience is preferred, especially experience working on SEO-related content.
- Strong command of written English with excellent grammar and sentence structure.
- Strong storytelling and content-writing ability.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword usage.
- Ability to adapt writing style and tone for different industries, brands, and digital platforms.
- Strong research skills with the ability to create well-informed and original content.
- Familiarity with content optimization and search-friendly writing practices.
- Good proofreading and editing skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to content quality.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Grammarly, and AI-assisted writing platforms.
- Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and content practices.
