Job Description

Head – Human Resources (People & Culture)

Location: Ahmedabad (with multi-city exposure)
Reporting To: Founder & CEO
Experience: 10–15+ years in HR leadership roles
Salary: 80 K to 1 Lac Per Month (Based on experience)

Role Objective
To build, scale, and lead the HR function at Qarmatek & Mobex by owning talent, culture, performance management, and compliance while ensuring the company attracts, retains, and develops high-quality teams during rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Culture
    • Act as a culture carrier for the company’s values and lead the change during rapid scaling.
    • Partner with leadership to strategize people initiatives and align with company goals.
  2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
    • Own the hiring strategy across all departments.
    • Build scalable hiring processes and employer branding for a sustainability-led company.
  3. Performance Management
    • Implement KRA/KPI frameworks and performance reviews.
    • Drive a performance-driven culture and early identification of top talent and underperformers.
  4. Learning & Leadership Development
    • Develop structured training programs for store staff, engineers, sales teams, and first-time managers.
    • Focus on internal leadership development and succession planning.
  5. HR Operations & Compliance
    • Own HR policies, employee lifecycle processes, and statutory compliance.
    • Manage payroll, attendance, benefits, and handle employee relations matters.
  6. Employee Engagement & Retention
    • Design and implement employee engagement programs.
    • Focus on reducing attrition in high-pressure roles.
  7. HR Systems & Digitization
    • Implement HRMS, optimize payroll systems, and use data for decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 10–15+ years in HR leadership roles.
  • Experience in retail, manufacturing, or multi-location operations.
  • Strong background in high-growth environments.
