Job Description
  • Department Setup: Lead the establishment of the glass printing department, including the installation, calibration, and setup of printing machinery and associated equipment.
  • Operational Leadership: Take charge of day-to-day operations in the glass printing department, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Machine Operation: Operate glass printing machinery effectively, including loading and unloading glass substrates, setting up print jobs, and monitoring printing processes for quality and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that printed glass products meet specifications for color accuracy, resolution, and adhesion.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of printing operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success and the achievement of departmental goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize printing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Inventory Management: Manage ink and substrate inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production and minimize downtime.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, quality control measures, and inventory levels.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees in the glass printing department.

    Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in printing technology is preferred. An Engineering Degree in Printing would be preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience operating printing machinery, with a focus on glass substrates.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience supervising a team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality printed materials.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to printing operations.
