About the Company
We are a Pune-based logistics group operating across two key business verticals: asset-based fleet operations providing pan-India trucking services and asset-light freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and EXIM services.
With a presence across Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi, the group provides transportation, warehousing, and freight forwarding solutions. We are looking for an experienced field sales professional to drive new client acquisition and expand existing accounts across our service offerings.
Job Overview
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth through new client acquisition, relationship management, and account development across transportation, freight forwarding, and warehousing services.
The role involves identifying potential customers, managing the complete sales cycle, achieving revenue targets, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Candidates must have an existing, active client base in freight forwarding, transportation, and warehousing, along with strong knowledge of the Pune industrial and business market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients across freight forwarding, domestic and EXIM transportation, and 3PL/warehousing segments.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, proposal and costing coordination, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, manufacturers, and traders involved in road, air, and ocean freight.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and volume targets across FTL/PTL trucking, warehousing, customs clearance, and EXIM forwarding services.
- Coordinate with internal operations, pricing, and customs teams to prepare competitive and accurate client quotations.
- Conduct regular field visits to existing and prospective clients in Pune and surrounding regions, with occasional travel to other locations as required.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports using CRM tools and Excel-based MIS.
- Monitor market rates, competitor activities, and industry trends in logistics, freight forwarding, and warehousing.
- Handle client escalations in coordination with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Candidate Profile
- Candidates with 3–6 years of proven field sales experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Must have an existing, active client base in freight forwarding, transportation, and warehousing. This is a mandatory requirement.
- Strong understanding of domestic trucking (FTL/PTL), basic EXIM documentation, and warehousing/3PL solutions.
- Based in Pune or willing to relocate, with good knowledge of local industrial and business areas, including Chakan, Talegaon, Ranjangaon, Hinjewadi, and MIDC regions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation, business development, and deal-closing abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive field travel.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and basic CRM tools.
- Ability to understand and discuss freight costing and rate sheets with clients.
- Candidates owning a two-wheeler or four-wheeler for field travel will be preferred.
Qualification
- Graduate in Any Discipline
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade will be an added advantage.

- Fixed CTC based on experience and existing client portfolio strength.
