Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive (BDE) who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer needs, and helping businesses adopt technology that supports their growth.
The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, conducting product demonstrations, and converting qualified leads into long-term customers.
The role involves working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable CRM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential business opportunities through inbound and outbound sales activities.
- Connect with prospective customers through calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Understand customer pain points and recommend suitable CRM solutions.
- Schedule and conduct online product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and support commercial discussions.
- Follow up consistently to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activities in the CRM.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with onboarding and customer success teams for smooth client handovers.
- Stay updated on CRM trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
- Represent the company professionally during client interactions and meetings.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide solution-based selling.
- Confidence in conducting product demonstrations.
- Strong follow-up and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Inside Sales, or SaaS Sales.
- Experience selling CRM, SaaS, ERP, HRMS, Marketing Software, or other B2B software solutions will be preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales pipelines is an added advantage.
