We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive / Accountant to manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Job Summary

The Accounts Executive / Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, handling statutory compliances, managing payroll and banking transactions, monitoring inventory accounting, and supporting financial planning and reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a manufacturing environment and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

  • Maintain and manage the company's books of accounts and financial records.
  • Prepare journal entries, ledgers, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and MIS reports.
  • Monitor production costs, overhead expenses, and cost allocation for operational efficiency.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Banking & Reconciliation

  • Manage banking transactions and fund movements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Coordinate with banks for routine financial operations.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities when required.

Inventory & Cost Accounting

  • Monitor inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliation.
  • Track raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory records.
  • Prepare cost reports and assist in cost control initiatives.

Payroll & Employee Compliance

  • Process payroll and salary disbursements.
  • Manage ESIC, PF, Professional Tax, and other employee-related statutory compliances.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and compliance documentation.

ERP & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records in Tally/ERP systems.
  • Generate periodic financial, compliance, and management reports.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in handling statutory compliances, taxation, and payroll processing.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and statutory compliances.
  • Inventory Accounting and Cost Accounting expertise.
  • Bank Reconciliation and Ledger Management.
  • Financial Analysis and MIS Reporting.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
