As an Academic Counselor, you will provide guidance and support to students in their academic journey. You will also be responsible for assessing student needs, developing individualized academic plans, and monitoring their progress. Additionally, you will collaborate with faculty and staff to address any academic challenges students may face and create a supportive and inclusive environment for learning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with students and promoting their academic success.

Job Description

- Provide academic counseling to students, helping them set goals and create academic plans for success
- Assist students with course selection, scheduling, and registration for classes each semester
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide support in overcoming challenges or obstacles
- Coordinate with faculty and staff to ensure students have access to necessary resources and support services
- Conduct workshops and seminars on study skills, time management, and other academic success strategies
- Collaborate with other campus departments to address student needs and promote student success
- Administer assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic progress and counseling sessions
- Stay up-to-date on academic policies, procedures, and requirements to provide accurate information to students and staff
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance counseling skills and stay current in the field of academic advising.

Salary: Upto 7 LPA, Incentive
