Job Description
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and instructions
- Set up welding machines based on material thickness and desired weld type
- Maintain and repair welding equipment to ensure smooth operation
- Conduct quality inspections on welded parts to verify conformance with standards
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and wear protective gear while working
- Manage inventory of welding supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Work in a team environment to achieve production goals and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any issues or concerns
