Job Description
- Manage and maintain infrastructure, servers, networking equipment, and systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Ensure data backups and disaster recovery plans are in place
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data
- Provide technical support and assistance to end users
- Assist in planning, testing, and implementing system upgrades and enhancements
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to resolve issues
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in system administration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktop/laptop computers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components.
- Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Set up new computers and software for users.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses.
- Collaborate with IT team members to ensure smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.
- Document technical procedures and user guides.
- Mentor junior support staff.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure AD and Microsoft 365
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Strong networking skills, including switches, routing, and firewall management
- Experience in asset management
- Expertise in laptop, hardware, and desktop troubleshooting
