Job Title - Sr. Engineer Rubber Shop
Experience – 3 years
Educational Qualification – BE / B. Tech (Mechanical)
Salary Criteria – Up to – 5 LPA
Company Profile: IRM Offshore and Marine Engineers Private Limited a MSME located in Rancharda on Shilaj Thol Highway, Ahmedabad and are manufacturers of Fenders which are used as shock absorbers in the shipping industry. This is a capital goods item and there are only two such manufacturing units in the country and they both are located in Ahmedabad. One fender weighs approximately a ton and the largest weigh about 10/15 tons which has 80% of steel and balance of rubber. The product is made by using steel and rubber with many other interesting processes. Our products are used at all the ports of the country including Indian Navy and we export to more than 70 countries across the world. The company details are as below.
IRM Offshore and Marine Engineers Private Limited is the flagship company of the IRM group which was founded in 1964. From a modest beginning as a manufacturer of rubber and allied items for textile, engineering and mining industries, today IRM has grown into a large scale multi-divisional company offering 2,000 plus specialty rubber engineering products and services, mainly for offshore and on-shore oil drilling, marine and infrastructure industries. We hope to reach to an annual turnover of Rs.300 Crores by the end of this financial year.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Take care of all items being molded in the Rubber shop
- Generate daily Molding reports for all presses in the shop
- Press planning for each day and manpower planning as per ongoing work.
- Maintain Daily rubber stock and indent purchase head when it reaches the min stock level.
- Maintain Data for other chemicals, tyre cord and other necessary items required for manufacturing Solid and Pneumatic fenders.
- Ensure the quality of compound being processed as per instruction from the DGM.
- Coordinate final inspection of fenders with QC and TPI.
