Job Title: Senior AI / ML Backend Engineer
Location: Coimbatore (On-site)
Experience: 8+ Years
Salary: ₹18 – ₹20 LPA
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI / ML Backend Engineer to build and scale production-grade AI systems. The role focuses on backend development with strong expertise in Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and scalable system architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing high-performance AI-driven backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Backend & System Development
- Build scalable backend systems using Node.js and Python (FastAPI/Flask).
- Design and implement high-concurrency, low-latency systems.
- Develop and maintain microservices-based architecture.
AI/ML & Agentic Systems

Design and develop Agentic AI systems, including:
- Multi-step reasoning agents
- Tool-calling workflows
- Multi-agent orchestration
- Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
- Develop real-time AI applications such as chatbots, voice agents, and automation workflows.
Data & Infrastructure
- Work with Vector Databases and hybrid retrieval systems.
- Manage structured and unstructured data using modern databases.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Architecture & Performance
- Architect scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems.
- Ensure performance optimization, reliability, and scalability.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Backend / Software Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Node.js and Python.
- Hands-on experience with:
- LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI
- Frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar

Experience with databases:
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- Vector DBs such as FAISS, pgvector, OpenSearch
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture & system design.
- Experience with AWS (ECS/EKS/EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience in Real Estate / PropTech platforms
- Exposure to:
- MLS (Multiple Listing Service) systems
- Property listing & search platforms
- Geo-spatial / location-based data
- Document processing (agreements, approvals, RERA, etc.)
Bonus Skills
- Experience in Voice AI (STT/TTS)
- Knowledge of Graph Databases (Neo4j)
- Experience working on high-scale production systems
