Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to conceptualize, build, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
- Lead development efforts and provide technical guidance to junior developers, ensuring code quality, best practices, and efficient use of resources.
- Participate in architectural discussions and decisions, driving innovation and improvements in our mobile application architecture.
- Translate design specifications into responsive user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across multiple devices and platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while following coding standards and development best practices.
- Optimize the performance of mobile applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies within the mobile development landscape and apply them to improve our development processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct thorough testing, and implement solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of the applications.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and assist in resolving any identified issues.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on React Native.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and React/React Native libraries.
- Proficiency in Data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and ability to translate designs into functional components.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers is a plus.
