Job Description
Position: Procurement Executive
Job Purpose:
The Procurement Executive manages sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials for bus body manufacturing, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely supply to meet production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Process and track purchase orders for on-time delivery.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage stock.
- Ensure materials meet quality standards; address supplier issues.
- Adhere to procurement policies and maintain accurate records.
KRAs:
- Timely procurement to support production.
- Cost-effective purchasing while ensuring quality.
- Reliable supplier performance and strong relationships.
- Inventory and stock management to avoid delays or waste.
- Compliance with procurement policies and audits.
KPIs:
- On-time delivery (%).
- Cost savings (% reduction).
- Supplier defect rate (%).
- Inventory turnover rate.
- Purchase order accuracy (%).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Supply Chain/Business.
- 2–4 years in procurement (manufacturing preferred).
- Strong negotiation, ERP skills, and attention to detail.
