Job Description
Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer– Pharma Equipment/Turnkey Projects
Location- Mumbai
Budget- Up-to 5 LPA
Candidates have to be from Mumbai
Interview Mode- Direct Walk-In
Job Objective
To design, coordinate and deliver HVAC systems for pharma manufacturing facilities, pharma Equipments, Cleanroom in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring controlled environments, energy efficiency, and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities / Principal Accountabilities
HVAC Design Engineer
- Design HVAC systems for pharma machinery and pharma turnkey projects which includes cleanrooms
- Perform heat load calculations, CFM distribution, and supply/return air balancing
- Prepare duct sizing calculations, duct layouts, and air terminal sizing.
- Design and layout chilled water, cooling water, and hot water piping systems
- Selection and sizing of HVAC equipment including AHUs, HEPA boxes, terminal risers, etc.
- Develop Air Flow Diagrams, AHU schedules, and pressure zoning
- Prepare Area Classification, System Zoning, Pressure Zoning, and Classification Zoning as per pharma standards.
- Design HVAC systems considering IN/EX filtration, cleanliness levels, and pressure differentials.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical environments.
Layouts & Drawings
Prepare:
- Ducting layouts
- Plant room layouts
- Equipment layouts
- Piping layouts
- P&ID diagrams
- GA drawings for HVAC equipment
- Coordinate HVAC drawings with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process services
- Prepare coordinated drawings including reflective ceiling layouts.
Education Qualification- BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 3-5 years relevant experience in HVAC design for pharmaceutical projects.
- Experience of AutoCAD 2D software is mandatory.
