Job Description
- Oversee and manage the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas
- Supervise a team of stewards and ensure they are following proper health and safety guidelines
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
- Inspect equipment and facilities regularly to ensure they are in good working condition
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed
- Conduct training sessions for stewards on proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Handle any guest complaints or issues related to cleanliness or service
- Keep track of expenses related to housekeeping and report to superiors
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to housekeeping and hygiene
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing leadership to the stewarding team.
