Opportunity Description
Revenue Cycle Operations Manager needed for a direct hire position in Jagatpur,Ahmedabad in the healthcare industry. As the Revenue Cycle Operations Manager, you are responsible for revenue cycle management (RCM) team operations including coding, charge-entry, claims submission, collections, and payment posting to achieve revenue goals and maximize cash flow. You will manage workflow and resolve problems to achieve peak productivity, as well as train, motivate, and manage team members for optimal performance.

Job Duties
- Manages RCM team operations including all aspects of coding, charge-entry, claims submission, collections and payment posting.
- Supervises and develops RCM team members.
- Responsibilities include work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluating performance and making recommendations for action; motivating employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Serves as the resident expert and "go to" person for all coding, billing and collections processes.
- Develops, reviews and enhances operating policies and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
- Analyzes actionable claims data, including revenue and volume, by region, payor, hospital, surgeon, procedure code, etc.
- Ensures compliance with coding and billing regulations, relevant healthcare regulations and data privacy issues (e.g., HIPAA).
- Coordinates team member paid time off (PTO) in a manner that does not negatively impact necessary daily functions.
- Prepares and reviews periodic reports of performance metrics with the Revenue Cycle Manager.
- Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Education:
- Associate’s degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or related field (preferred).
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum of 2-5 years medical insurance/healthcare billing and collections experience with a deep understanding of medical billing rules and regulations.
- Five (5) years supervisory or management experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Thorough understanding of medical billing, collections and payment posting, revenue cycle, third-party payers, Medicare; strong knowledge of New York and Federal payer regulations.
- Well versed in CPT and ICD10 codes and procedural modifiers, claim forms, HIPAA, billing and insurance regulations, medical terminology, insurance benefits and appeal processes.
- Proficient in EMR software and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong leadership, team development and business skills.
Certifications: Certified coder a plus.
