Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for AWS cloud services.
Client Engagement: Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their business challenges and demonstrating how AWS cloud solutions can meet their needs.
Solution Selling: Provide expert knowledge of AWS services to design and present tailored solutions that address client requirements, including cloud migration, infrastructure optimization, and advanced services.
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of leads into customers.
Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring profitable deals that meet customer expectations.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, AWS product developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, tracking performance against targets.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT sales, with a strong focus on cloud services; previous experience selling AWS solutions is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
AWS Knowledge: Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others; AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) are a plus.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and finalize deals effectively.
Customer Focus: Ability to build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver exceptional service.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-driven and able to work independently.
