Job Description
- Make outbound calls to insurance companies to follow up on outstanding claims.
- Verify insurance information and update patient records as needed.
- Review and resolve denied claims to ensure proper payment.
- Utilize coding and billing knowledge to identify and rectify billing discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to address account-related issues.
- Meet weekly and monthly production and quality targets.
- Document all communication with insurance companies in the system.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance representatives.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and insurance information.
