Job Description
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations
- Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures
- Advise on tax planning and preparation to minimize tax liabilities
- Prepare and review budgets and forecasts, as well as reporting on variances
- Monitor and report on financial status, providing management with timely information for decision-making
- Conduct audits and collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed
- Handle payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls and recommending improvements
- Stay current on accounting standards and regulations, as well as software applications and tools
- Support financial planning and analysis to help drive business growth and profitability
