Job Overview
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems at project sites. The candidate will coordinate with supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and client representatives while ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, timelines, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the installation of fire hydrant, sprinkler, and other fire protection systems according to approved drawings and project specifications.
Coordinate with site supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Monitor daily site activities and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and installation details.
Ensure proper utilization of materials, manpower, and equipment at project sites.
Maintain daily progress reports, material records, and site documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and site safety requirements.
Assist with system testing, commissioning, inspections, and preparation of handover documents.
Report project progress, site issues, and material requirements to the Project Manager.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 1 year of experience in fire fighting or fire protection projects.
Basic knowledge of fire hydrant and sprinkler systems.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Qualification
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: ₹18,000–₹30,000 per month (₹2.16–₹3.60 LPA), depending on experience, technical knowledge, and suitability.
