  • Prepare basic Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs from approved drawings.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors, fabricators, electricians, plumbers, and vendors to resolve technical queries.
  • Visit the production floor regularly to check whether fabrication is being executed according to approved drawings.
  • Conduct site or vehicle measurements whenever required.
  • Revise drawings based on client feedback, technical feasibility, and production requirements.
  • Maintain proper drawing numbers, revision records, approval status, and organized project folders.
  • Identify dimensional conflicts, design errors, and fabrication challenges before drawings are released for production.
  • Support the design team in preparing presentation drawings, technical proposals, and client-approval layouts.

  • Knowledge of MS fabrication, stainless-steel fabrication, sheet-metal work, cladding, insulation, and modular construction.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, LPG, exhaust, and ventilation requirements.
  • Ability to interpret equipment technical sheets and incorporate them into layouts.
  • Working knowledge of SketchUp, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar 3D software will be an advantage.
