Azimuth Business On Wheels is a specialist design and manufacturing company developing customized mobile and modular business infrastructure. Our projects include food trucks, food trailers, mobile kitchens, retail kiosks, cafés, speciality vehicles, mobile medical units, and other purpose-built structures.

We are looking for a creative and technically capable 3D Designer & Visualization Artist who can transform design briefs, CAD drawings, and ideas into compelling, realistic, and fabrication-conscious visual presentations.

Role Summary

The 3D Designer & Visualization Artist will create high-quality 3D models, photorealistic renders, design presentations, and visual walkthroughs for mobile and modular projects.

The role requires a balance of creativity and technical understanding. The selected candidate should be able to produce attractive visuals while ensuring designs are structurally practical, dimensionally accurate, and aligned with actual fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 3D models of food trucks, food trailers, kiosks, mobile kitchens, retail outlets, speciality vehicles, and modular structures.
  • Convert CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, sketches, reference images, and client briefs into accurate 3D models.
  • Create exterior and interior visualizations, including:
  • Front, rear, and side views
  • Three-quarter perspective views
  • Top and roof views
  • Interior kitchen and service-area views
  • Day and night renders
  • Open and closed operational configurations
  • Site-placement and environmental visualizations
  • Branding and colour-scheme alternatives
  • Develop photorealistic renders with appropriate materials, textures, lighting, reflections, shadows, and environmental context.
  • Visualize structural elements such as chassis, wheels, tow bars, serving hatches, entry doors, windows, counters, equipment, and signage.
  • Create realistic material finishes for MS, stainless steel, ACP, glass, wood, laminates, corrugated sheets, paint, vinyl graphics, and illuminated signage.
  • Apply client branding, logos, menu graphics, colour palettes, and signage accurately to 3D designs.
  • Prepare multiple design options for client presentations and internal reviews.
  • Design interior layouts considering equipment dimensions, staff movement, service workflow, storage, and available space.
  • Create presentation boards, material palettes, mood boards, and concept sheets.
  • Produce short walkthroughs, turntable animations, and product-explainer videos when required.
  • Place designs realistically within petrol pumps, parks, highways, commercial complexes, event spaces, and other intended environments.
  • Coordinate with CAD technicians, graphic designers, project managers, production supervisors, and fabricators.
  • Review the technical feasibility of visual concepts before presenting them to clients.
  • Incorporate client feedback and maintain proper version and revision control.
  • Organize and maintain a structured library of 3D models, materials, textures, equipment, vehicle components, and environmental assets.
  • Support the sales team with visual content for proposals, presentations, tenders, social media, and marketing campaigns.
  • Visit the production facility to understand construction methods and compare completed units with approved visualizations.

Essential Software Skills

3D Modelling – Strong proficiency in at least one:

  • SketchUp
  • Autodesk 3ds Max
  • Blender

Rendering – Proficiency in one or more:

  • V-Ray
  • Corona Renderer
  • Lumion
  • D5 Render
  • Enscape
  • Twinmotion

Working Knowledge:

  • AutoCAD
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects

Knowledge of AI-assisted visualization and image-enhancement tools will be an added advantage, provided the final output remains accurate to the approved design.

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of scale, dimensions, proportions, and spatial planning.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, elevations, and sections.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle bodies, trailers, chassis systems, and modular structures.
  • Understanding of fabrication materials and construction methods.
  • Knowledge of MS and stainless-steel fabrication, ACP cladding, glass, laminates, lighting, and signage.
  • Awareness of commercial kitchen equipment, ventilation, and service clearances will be preferred.
  • Ability to create realistic lighting, materials, textures, and environmental compositions.
  • Understanding of print and digital presentation requirements.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in any of the following sectors will be preferred:

  • Food trucks and food trailers
  • Commercial vehicle body design
  • Kiosk and retail design
  • Commercial kitchen design
  • Architecture and interior visualization
  • Modular or prefabricated structures
  • Exhibition stalls and experiential spaces
  • Automotive visualization
  • Product and industrial design
  • Retail fixtures and signage

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certification in 3D Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Animation, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Candidates with strong portfolios and relevant practical experience may also be considered irrespective of formal qualifications.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have a strong sense of design, proportion, colour, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail.
  • Balance visual creativity with fabrication practicality.
  • Understand that the final visualization must accurately represent what can be manufactured.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and revisions within defined timelines.
  • Accept feedback positively and convert it into precise design improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, designers, engineers, and production teams.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned projects.
  • Be comfortable visiting the production floor and learning from actual fabrication.
  • Stay updated on visualization software, rendering techniques, and design trends.

Portfolio Requirements

Applicants should submit a portfolio demonstrating:

  • Exterior and interior 3D modelling
  • Photorealistic rendering
  • Product, vehicle, kiosk, or architectural visualization
  • Day and night lighting
  • Material and texture application
  • Branding integration
  • Technical accuracy
  • Before-and-after examples, where available

Preference will be given to portfolios that clearly identify the candidate’s personal contribution to each project.
