Role Overview

Growth Electricals is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector – PDI to perform Pre-Dispatch Inspections (PDI) of electrical and electronic products at manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of quality inspection processes, AQL sampling, Indian and IEC standards, and the ability to prepare detailed inspection reports while ensuring compliance with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Pre-Dispatch Inspections (PDI) at supplier and factory locations as per client requirements.
• Inspect electrical and electronic products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform inspections on products including:
  • Lithium-Ion (Li-ion) Batteries
  • Home Gateways and Set-Top Boxes
  • Mobile Phones and Laptops
  • Refrigerators, Washing Machines, and Water Dispensers
  • Mixers, Blenders, and Water Heaters
  • Luminaires and Lighting Products
  • Audio & Video Equipment
  • IT Hardware and Consumer Electronics
  • Household Electrical Appliances
• Apply AQL sampling methods and quality control techniques during inspections.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with observations, findings, and recommendations.
• Respond to client queries and provide technical clarification when required.
• Ensure timely submission of inspection reports and documentation.
• Verify product compliance with Indian Standards (IS), IEC standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and professionalism throughout inspection activities.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection or pre-dispatch inspection of electrical and electronic products.
• Strong knowledge of AQL Sampling, Quality Control Tools, Inspection Procedures, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Good understanding of Indian Standards (IS) and IEC Standards.
• Experience in consumer electronics, electrical appliances, batteries, lighting, or IT products is preferred.
• Experience working with an MNC or third-party inspection agency will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India at short notice.
