Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Professional to drive business growth by acquiring new customers, selling life and general insurance products, and expanding the distribution network through the onboarding and management of POSPs (Point of Sales Persons) and insurance agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities through B2B and B2C sales channels.
  • Sell Life Insurance and General Insurance products to individual and corporate customers.
  • Develop new business through networking, referrals, cold calling, and market outreach.
  • Recruit, onboard, and activate POSPs (Point of Sales Persons) and insurance agents.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with POSPs, agents, and channel partners.
  • Understand customer insurance needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly update CRM records.
  • Provide excellent pre-sales and post-sales support to customers and channel partners.
  • Stay updated with insurance products, market trends, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless policy issuance and customer servicing.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in Insurance Sales, BFSI Sales, Financial Product Sales, or Channel Sales is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Life Insurance and General Insurance products.
  • Experience in recruiting and managing POSPs, insurance agents, or channel partners will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sales and target-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to generate business through direct sales, referrals, and networking.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • Insurance certifications (IRDAI/NISM) will be an added advantage.
