Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B sales within the events, MICE, hospitality, media, advertising, or experiential marketing industry, with a strong ability to build relationships with corporate and government clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and market research.
  • Identify and acquire new corporate, government, and institutional clients.
  • Understand client requirements and develop customized event and experiential solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and business proposals.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close deals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and clients.
  • Coordinate with creative, operations, production, and project teams to ensure smooth project onboarding and execution.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update customer interactions in the CRM.
  • Represent the company at networking events, industry forums, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Travel as required for client meetings and business development activities.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, or B2B Sales.
  • Experience in the Events, MICE, Experiential Marketing, Hospitality, Advertising, Media, or B2B Services industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with corporate clients, government organizations, or enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours based on event schedules.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related discipline.
  • MBA (Marketing/Sales) is an added advantage.
