We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager – Corporate Events to drive business growth by acquiring new corporate clients and managing key accounts. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in corporate event sales, business development, client relationship management, proposal development, and strategic planning.
The role requires the ability to identify business opportunities, understand client requirements, develop event solutions, coordinate with internal teams, and convert opportunities into successful projects while achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and strategic partnerships.
Identify, approach, and acquire new corporate clients across diverse industries.
Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, requirement analysis, proposal submission, commercial negotiations, and project closure.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, including HR, Marketing, Administration, Procurement, Corporate Communications, Plant Heads, and CXOs.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
Corporate Event Consulting
Understand client objectives and recommend appropriate event concepts and engagement solutions.

Experiential Marketing Campaigns
Proposal Development & Client Management
Prepare detailed event proposals, presentations, budgets, costing, and commercial quotations.
Present concepts and event solutions confidently to prospective clients.
Negotiate commercials, contracts, and project terms to ensure profitable business.
Maintain long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
Project Coordination
Coordinate with Creative, Design, Production, Client Servicing, Operations, and Finance teams for smooth project execution.
Participate in client meetings, venue visits, and event execution whenever required.
Reporting
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, quotations, and client interactions in CRM.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, revenue forecasts, and business development MIS.
Track conversion ratios, project profitability, and client feedback.

Experience
5–7 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Event Sales, Experiential Marketing, Advertising, BTL, MICE, Exhibitions, or a related industry.
Proven track record of acquiring new clients and achieving sales targets.
Experience in handling corporate event projects from enquiry to closure.
